How Fiverr fees work in 2026

Sellers pay one percentage and a few flat or conversion costs. Buyers pay their own separate fee.

  • Seller fee: a flat 20%. It applies to every order at every seller level, including gig extras and tips. A $50 order leaves you $40, and a $20 tip leaves you $16. Fiverr used to charge less on repeat buyers but dropped that in late 2022.
  • Buyer fee: 5.5% plus $2.50 on small orders. Buyers pay 5.5% on top of the order price, plus a $2.50 small-order fee when the order is under $50. You don't pay this, but it raises your price from the buyer's point of view.
  • Withdrawal fees: about $0–3. The fee depends on the method and your country. Payoneer and the Revenue Card usually cost about $1, and a bank transfer through Payoneer about $3.
  • Currency conversion: Payoneer and PayPal charge an exchange markup when you convert dollars to your own currency, usually around 2% and 3–4%.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Fiverr take from sellers in 2026?

A flat 20% of every order, including extras and tips, at every seller level. Withdrawal and conversion costs come on top.

Does Fiverr take 20% of tips?

Yes. A $20 tip leaves you $16.

How do I price a gig so I receive a set amount?

Switch the calculator to "What to charge" and enter the amount you want and the number of orders. It adds back Fiverr's 20%, your monthly costs, withdrawal fees and conversion, then gives you the gig price per order.

Is it worth pricing at $50 instead of $45?

Often yes. Under $50, your buyer pays an extra $2.50 small-order fee, so a $45 gig costs them $49.98 while a $50 gig costs $52.75. The gap to the buyer is small, and you earn $4 more.

What does the buyer pay on Fiverr?

Buyers pay a 5.5% service fee on top of the order price, plus a $2.50 small-order fee on orders under $50. The seller doesn't pay these, but they make small orders more expensive for your buyers.

How long does Fiverr take to clear payments?

Earnings usually become available 14 days after an order is completed, or 7 days for Top Rated Sellers. After that, the withdrawal itself takes from about 1 to 5 business days depending on the method.
